Our beloved Elbow Reef Lighthouse stands as the last non-electrified, manually operated lighthouse in the world — a remarkable distinction that makes Abaco one of the rarest and most treasured places on Earth. Our mission to sustain and maintain this iconic structure is both a deep local passion and a vital contribution to the preservation of the world's maritime history.
One of the primary ways we fund the Elbow Reef Lighthouse's ongoing care is through the Elbow Reef Classic Fishing Tournament. This year marks our fourth annual event, taking place May 20–23, 2026. The tournament has brought together businesses, residents, and visitors year after year to raise essential funds for keeper operations, structural maintenance, and historic preservation.
